Fulton County Outreach

The McConnellsburg Committee supports the Fulton County Catholic Mission at St. Stephen’s Church in McConnellsburg, PA to provide support to help meet the needs of disadvantaged individuals and families in Fulton County. 

Committee members work with the Sisters at St. Stephen’s Church in McConnellsburg (about 90 miles from State College) to respond to individual and family needs with Fulton County. Support is provided in various ways such as:

·      Collection and delivery of donated clothing and household goods

·      Organizing the Children’s Advent Giving Tree which provides Christmas gifts for approximately 125 needy children

·      Provide financial aid as needed based on availability of funding

Volunteer drivers deliver all donated goods to St. Stephen’s on a weekly basis.
